Since most of the current Standard block deck types waste their first 3 turns to set up, this deck takes the opportunity to go on full offensive and keep attacking until they lose. As a matter of fact, the winner of the event was a Vampire deck, with the second place going to the Red White "Boros Bushwacker" deck. The mirror match will depend on who goes first, assuming both have ideal opening hand draws.<br /><br />This deck still needs to be tweaked in order to handle bad matchups. Elemental Appeal, despite the extreme damage potential, was hardly used in actual games, and so they usually got swapped out between rounds. Counterspells seems to be less of a factor in the current environment, so maybe Pyroclasm can be put back in.
